Conch is a hybrid reverb: a convolution impulse response provides the acoustic character, while a separate parametric tail adds length and density. Choose a room or load your own IR, then play an audio file or use Line Input. The dry signal stays direct; Pre-Delay and damping affect the wet sound.
Source and IR
Room presets
Choose a synthesized room and its starting settings. You can change any control afterward.
IR File
Drop an audio file into the IR field to replace only the impulse response. The current controls remain available.
Audio source
Drop a source file, use Line Input for a live microphone, or record the processed output and export it as WAV.
Shape
Dry / Wet
Balances the direct source against convolution and parametric tail. At 100% wet, only the reverb is heard.
Pre-Delay
Delays the wet response without delaying the direct source.
IR Stretch
Lengthens or compresses the IR. The response is rebuilt shortly after you stop moving the slider and crossfaded to reduce clicks.
IR Trim
Shortens the IR before stretching it, creating a tighter space.
Direction
Uses the IR forward or backward. Reverse turns attacks into rising reverberation.
Shimmer
Adds a moving high-frequency sheen to the tail. The browser effect approximates, but does not exactly reproduce, the plug-in’s octave-up granular shimmer.
Tail
Tail Mix
Sets the level of the parametric reverb alongside the convolution IR.
Tail Decay
Controls how slowly the parametric tail fades after the source stops.
Density
Adds more diffuse reflections and increases the fullness of the tail.
Wet Press
Compresses only the wet signal to bring quiet reverb detail forward.
Wet Drive
Adds soft saturation to the wet signal without distorting the direct source.
Freeze
Stops feeding new sound into the parametric tail and holds what is already ringing. Switch it on while a reverb tail is audible; Shimmer, Press and Drive are disengaged during Freeze.
Colour and output
LF Damp
Removes low-frequency energy from the wet input.
HF Damp
Softens high frequencies in the wet input and tail.
Output
Sets the final level of the combined dry and wet sound.
Normalize
Automatically scales the IR to a useful level. Changing it rebuilds and crossfades the response.
