Krill is a precise additive tone generator that bends a simple sine wave into glacial swells, fragile harmonics, drifting colour and crystalline digital decay — part instrument, part experimental sound laboratory.
SpectrumBase — level of the fundamental sine tone.
Sub — adds a lower octave beneath the fundamental.
Body — raises the central partials and gives the sound weight.
Sheen — introduces the upper partials for a colder, glassier edge.
SwellRise — attack time; higher values let the tone emerge slowly.
Fall — release time; higher values leave a longer fading tail.
MotionSpread — separates partials across the stereo field.
Drift — adds slow, independent pitch movement to the partials.
Wow — broad, slow pitch fluctuation.
Flutter — faster, finer pitch instability.
ShapeWav Morph — bends the simple sine source toward a more complex waveform.
Metal — shifts selected partials into inharmonic, metallic relationships.
Drive — adds saturation and harder digital edges.
Reduction — lowers the effective sample rate for brittle digital degradation.
Cutoff — darkens the generated spectrum with a low-pass filter.
SpaceTime — delay time between repeats.
Feedback — number and persistence of delay repeats.
Delay — wet/dry amount of the delay.
Reverb — adds a diffuse ambient tail.
Level — master output volume.
PlayingUse Play to sustain the selected Root note. The computer keyboard plays notes from A to K; Z and X change octave. Connected MIDI devices appear automatically. The modulation wheel controls Reduction.
